Transfer Admissions
To be considered for admission to Coker College as a transfer, the following items are needed:
If you are transferring fewer than 30 semester hours to Coker College, then an official high school transcript and/or SAT scores may be requested by the Office of Admissions. For application questions or information, please contact the Admission Office or your admissions counselor at 1.800.950.1908.
Transfer Credit
Coker welcomes transfers from accredited colleges and universities. Once an applicant's file is completed, the Registrar will evaluate all transfer credits. Transferable courses successfully completed with a grade of "C" or better will count toward graduation from Coker. Grades and grade points from other institutions do not transfer to Coker; they are considered only when a student is qualified to graduate with honors.
Coker College will accept students who graduated during the 1992-93 academic year, and thereafter, with an Associate in Arts or Associate in Science from a Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) accredited college or university and award them up to 64 hours credit toward the Baccalaureate degree from Coker College.
Regardless of the number of hours transferred to Coker, each student must satisfy the degree requirements as stated in the Academic Programs section in the college catalog.
