Cost of Attendance 2009-10

There are many financial aid options available to Coker students. Please discuss your options with the Office of Financial Aid and visit these web pages:

Cost of Attendance for a Full-time RESIDENCE HALL Student, per year

Tuition: $19,368
Room (double): $3,070
Board: $3,170
Activity Fee: $220
Accident & Basic Sickness Insurance: $110
Academic Technology Fee: $270
   
TOTAL: $26,208


Some expenses are incurred over the academic year which are not set by the College. Books and supplies may cost $1000.00 or more per year. Furthermore, students occasionally enroll in programs outside the environs of Hartsville which would necessitate additional expense. Although an exact estimate cannot be made to cover the cost of clothing, laundry, travel, and personal expenses, such expenses may average $500.00 per year. Using these figures we can estimate the total Cost of Attendance, which is used for awarding purposes:

TOTAL ESTIMATED COST OF ATTENDANCE:
$28,008

Financial assistance can be awarded for up to 10 semesters to eligible students who meet the academic standards. Students with extenuating circumstances may appeal for additional semesters of eligibility. Students must apply for financial aid each year.

Financial aid, such as the SC Tuition Grant, the Pell Grant and a Federal Student Loan, is available to Coker Evening Program students. At this time there are no scholarships available to evening students. Discuss your options with the Office of Financial Aid.
