  • U.S. News & World Report ranks Coker one of America’s Best Colleges for 2008. The magazine has named Coker a Best College for 12 consecutive years.
  • The Princeton Review has selected Coker College a 2008 Best Southeastern College based on academic excellence and student satisfaction. This is the third consecutive year the College has received this recognition.
  • Coker College's Fall 2007 enrollment is at an all-time high of 643 students and residence halls are filled to capacity with 428 students living on-campus.
  • Coker students are from 28 states and 10 foreign countries — Bulgaria, Canada, Cuba, Ecuador, England, Finland, Kenya, Lithuania, Costa Rica, Thailand; 59% are women and 41% are men; and 21% are African-American (all minorities: 26%).
  • The Top Five Reasons fall 2007 freshman chose Coker College: Affordability, Student/Faculty Ratio, Location, Academic Programs, and Academic Reputation.
  • The combined enrollment in Coker College’s day and evening programs is 1193. The evening program includes 550 working adult students in Hartsville and at off-campus sites in Lake City, Mullins, and at Fort Jackson. •
